Need help with your tax return?
COTA Seniors Connect, with support from the
Australian Taxation Office, provides a free tax help program for individuals 50 year and over to assist with simple and straightforward tax returns.
The service is offered by volunteers who are trained by the Australian Taxation office.
The free tax help service can help you if:
- Your income is less than $35,000
- Your tax return is simple and straightforward
Bookings for appointments will commence in June (date to be confirmed).
Dates when appointments are available to be confirmed.
If you require other financial information, Centrelink offers a free, independent, confidential Financial Information Service (FIS). You can contact an FIS Officer on 13 23 00.
